Lt.-Col. Sir Harry Charles Malet, 7th Bt. was born on 21 September 1873. He was the son of Captain William St. Lo Malet and Helen Eden. He married Mildred Laura Lambert-Swiney, daughter of Captain Henry Stephan Lambert-Swiney, on 1 February 1906. He died on 14 October 1931 at age 58.
Lt.-Col. Sir Harry Charles Malet, 7th Bt. gained the title of 7th Baronet Malet. He fought in the Boer War, with the 8th Hussars and Cape Mounted Riflemen.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was Assistant Quartermaster-General of the I Corps.1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).1
