     Captain John Watson was born in 1760 at Adderstone Hall, Belford, Northumberland, England.¹ He was the son of William Watson.¹ He married Dorothy Henrietta Grey, daughter of Henry Grey, on 13 August 1795.¹ He died in 1798.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 76th Regiment.¹

     Mary Capron was the daughter of Anthony Capron.¹ She married Sir William Henry Watson, son of Captain John Watson and Dorothy Henrietta Grey, on 5 August 1831.¹ She died on 8 December 1878.¹
     From 5 August 1831, her married name became Watson.¹

     Anthony Capron lived at Midhurst, Sussex, England.¹

     Colonel Williamm Henry Watson was born on 26 May 1834.¹ He was the son of Sir William Henry Watson and Mary Capron.¹ He married Amy Weekes, daughter of Nathaniel Weekes, on 25 August 1866.¹ He died on 28 December 1899 at age 65.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Amy Weekes is the daughter of Nathaniel Weekes.¹ She married Colonel Williamm Henry Watson, son of Sir William Henry Watson and Mary Capron, on 25 August 1866.¹
