Sybille von Sachsen-Freiberg was born on 2 May 1515. She was the daughter of Heinrich Herzog von Sachsen and Catherine von Mecklenburg. She married Franz I Herzog von Sachsen-Lauenburg, son of Magnus I Herzog von Sachsen-Lauenburg and Katherine von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, on 8 February 1540. She died on 18 July 1592 at age 77.

Friedrich Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg was born before 1418. He was the son of Bernard I Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and Margaret von Sachsen.1 He married Magdalene von Hohenzollern, daughter of Friedrich I Kurfürst von Brandenburg and Elisabeth Prinzessin von Bayern-Landshut, on 3 July 1429 at Tangermünde, Germany. He died on 29 March 1478.
He was a member of the House of Guelph.1 Friedrich Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg also went by the nick-name of Friedrich 'the Pious'.1 He succeeded as the Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg in 1434.1 He abdicated as Duke of Brunswick-Luneburg in 1441.1 He succeeded as the Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg in 1446.1 He abdicated as Duke of Brunswick-Luneburg in 1459. In 1459 After abdicating, he retired to the Monastery of Celle, until the death of his son.
