     Sir John de la Fontain Tyrwhitt, 6th Bt. was born on 6 March 1708.1 He was the son of Sir John Tyrwhitt, 5th Bt. and Mary Drake.1 He died on 22 August 1760 at age 52, unmarried.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincoln between 1741 and 1747.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Tyrwhitt, of Stainfield, co. Lincoln [E., 1611] in November 1741. He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire from 1750 to 1751.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     Sir Edward Tyrwhitt, 2nd Bt. was born in 1577.1 He was the son of Sir Philip Tyrwhitt, 1st Bt. and Martha Thorold.1 He married Faith St. Poll, daughter of Thomas St. Poll.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Chute, daughter of George Chute, in 1602.1 He died on 4 March 1628.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincoln in 1604.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Tyrwhitt, of Stainfield, co. Lincoln [E., 1611] in 1624.
