     Sarah Georgina Cranstoun Todd is the daughter of Brigadier Alston Cranstoun Todd. She married Clement Napier Bertram Freeman-Mitford, 5th Baron Redesdale, son of Hon. Ernest Rupert Bertram Ogilvy Freeman-Mitford and Flora Napier, on 26 July 1958.
      Her married name became Freeman-Mitford.

     Rupert Bertram Mitford, 6th Baron Redesdale was born on 18 July 1967. He is the son of Clement Napier Bertram Freeman-Mitford, 5th Baron Redesdale and Sarah Georgina Cranstoun Todd.
     He succeeded to the title of 6th Baron Redesdale. He was created Baron Mitford, of Redesdale in the County of Northumberland [U.K. Life Peer] on 18 April 2000.1
