     Gillian Verity Cracroft-Amcotts was born on 22 March 1936.¹ She was the daughter of John Cracroft-Amcotts and May Redfearn-Shaw.¹ She married Samuel Julian Hoare, son of Major Eustace Benyon Hoare and Lady Peggy Virginia Coventry.¹ She died on 3 July 2019 at age 83.¹
