     Marie von Sachsen-Weimar was born on 7 November 1571 at Weimar, Germany^G. She was the daughter of Johann Wilhelm Herzog von Sachsen-Weimar and Dorothea Susanna von der Pfalz. She died on 7 March 1610 at age 38.
     She was the Abbess at Quedlinburg^G.

     Friedrich III Kurfürst von der Pfalz was born on 14 February 1515 at Simmern, Germany^G.¹ He was the son of Johann II Pfalzgraf von der Pfalz-Simmern and Beatrix von Baden.¹ He married Marie von Hohenzollern, daughter of Kasimir Markgraf von Kulmbach and Susanne Prinzessin von Bayern, on 12 June 1537 at Crailsheim, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.¹ He died on 26 October 1576 at age 61 at Heidelberg, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.^2,1
     Friedrich III Kurfürst von der Pfalz also went by the nick-name of Friedrich 'the Pious'.² He was a member of the House of Wittelsbach.² He succeeded as the Kurfürst von der Pfalz in 1559.²

     Marie von Hohenzollern was born in 1519. She was the daughter of Kasimir Markgraf von Kulmbach and Susanne Prinzessin von Bayern. She married Friedrich III Kurfürst von der Pfalz, son of Johann II Pfalzgraf von der Pfalz-Simmern and Beatrix von Baden, on 12 June 1537 at Crailsheim, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.¹ She died in 1567.

     Kasimir Markgraf von Kulmbach was born in 1481. He was the son of Friedrich V Markgraf von Brandenburg-Ansbach and Zofia Jagiellon, Królewna Polska. He married Susanne Prinzessin von Bayern, daughter of Albrecht IV Herzog von Bayern and Kunigunde Erzherzogin von Österreich, in 1518.¹ He died in 1527.
     He gained the title of Markgraf von Kulmbach.

     Johann Friederich II Herzog von Sachsen-Coburg-Eisenach was born on 8 January 1529 at Torgau, Germany^G. He was the son of Johann Friedrich I Kurfürst von Sachsen and Sybille von der Mark-Kleve. He married, firstly, Agnes von Hessen, daughter of Philip I Landgraf von Hessen and Christina von Sachsen, on 26 May 1555 at Weimar, Germany^G. He married, secondly, Elisabeth von der Pfalz, daughter of Friedrich III Kurfürst von der Pfalz and Marie von Hohenzollern, on 12 June 1558 at Weimar, Germany^G. He died on 9 May 1595 at age 66 at Steier^G, in prison.
     He gained the title of Herzog von Sachsen-Coburg-Eisenach. He gained the title of Herzog von Sachsen-Gotha. He was deposed as Duke of Saxe-Gotha and Saxe-Coburg-Eisenach in 1567.

     Elisabeth von der Pfalz was born on 30 June 1540 at Birkenfeld, Germany^G. She was the daughter of Friedrich III Kurfürst von der Pfalz and Marie von Hohenzollern. She married Johann Friederich II Herzog von Sachsen-Coburg-Eisenach, son of Johann Friedrich I Kurfürst von Sachsen and Sybille von der Mark-Kleve, on 12 June 1558 at Weimar, Germany^G. She died on 8 February 1594 at age 53 at Weimar, Germany^G.

     Margarete von der Saale was born in 1522. She was the daughter of Hans von der Saale.¹ She married Philip I Landgraf von Hessen, son of Wilhelm II Landgraf von Hessen and Anne von Mecklenburg, in 1540.¹ She died in 1566.

     Johann Friedrich IV von Sachsen-Coburg-Eisenach was born on 30 November 1559 at Weimar, Germany^G. He was the son of Johann Friederich II Herzog von Sachsen-Coburg-Eisenach and Elisabeth von der Pfalz. He died on 8 August 1560 at Weimar, Germany^G.

     Friedrich von Sachsen-Coburg-Eisenach was born on 3 February 1563. He was the son of Johann Friederich II Herzog von Sachsen-Coburg-Eisenach and Elisabeth von der Pfalz. He died on 4 August 1572 at age 9.

     Johann Ernst III Herzog von Sachsen-Eisenach was born on 9 July 1566. He was the son of Johann Friederich II Herzog von Sachsen-Coburg-Eisenach and Elisabeth von der Pfalz. He married, firstly, Elisabeth von Mansfeld See, daughter of Johann Graf von Mansfeld See and Margaret von Braunschweig-Lüneburg, on 23 November 1591 at Wienerisch-Neustadt^G. He married, secondly, Christina von Hessen-Kassel, daughter of Wilhelm IV Landgraf von Hessen-Kassel and Sabine von Württemberg, on 14 May 1598 at Rotenburg, Germany^G. He died on 23 October 1638 at age 72.
     He gained the title of Herzog von Sachsen-Eisenach.
