Besley, on 18 July 1893.1 He married Violet Louisa Utterson, daughter of Maj.-Gen. A. H. Utterson, on 21 July 1902.1 He died on 13 December 1914 at age 57.1
     He was given the name of William David Finch at birth.1 In 1893 his name was legally changed to William David Finch-Besley by Royal Licence.1 His name was legally changed to William David Finch.1

     Frances Caroline Besley was the daughter of W. H. Besley.1 She married, firstly, F. H. Wood before 1893.1 She married, secondly, William David Finch, son of William Robert Finch-Hatton and Agnes Graham Oxenden, on 18 July 1893.1 She died on 26 May 1901, without issue.1
     From before 1893, her married name became Wood.1 From 18 July 1893, her married name became Finch.1

     Edward Heneage Finch-Hatton was born on 4 January 1868.1 He was the son of William Robert Finch-Hatton and Agnes Graham Oxenden.1 He married Dagmar Gladys Wiehe, daughter of Colonel Francis George Archibald Wiehe, on 25 January 1912.1 He died on 22 May 1940 at age 72.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He gained the rank of First World War in the where he was wounded and was mentioned in dispatches.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Brigadier-General and Brigade Commander in 1916 in the 1st Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1
