     Lieutenant Robin Lascelles Boyle was born on 13 November 1915.1 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Hon. Robert Francis Boyle and Cerise Champion de Crespigny.2 He died on 24 May 1940 at age 24 at Pas de Calais, France, killed in action.3
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Welch Fusiliers.3
