     Craufurd Tait was the son of Most Rev. Rt. Hon. Archibald Campbell Tait and Catherine Spooner.1 He died on 29 May 1878.1
     He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was Curate from 1874 to 1875 at Saltwood, Kent, England.1
