     Sir John Coryton, 2nd Bt. was born in January 1648.1 He was the son of Sir John Coryton, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mills.1 He married Elizabeth Chiverton, daughter of Sir Richard Chiverton, in 1672.1 He died in July 1690 at age 42.1
     He was educated at Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newport in 1679.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Coryton in August 1680. He held the office of Sheriff of Cornwall from 1683 to 1684.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Callington in 1685.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Callington from 1689 to 1690.1

     Her married name became Tillie.1 From 1672, her married name became Coryton.1
