     Sir Thomas Taylor, 2nd Bt. was born on 19 August 1657.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Taylor, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Bowes-Hall.1 He married Alice Colepeper, daughter of Sir Richard Colepeper, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Reynolds.1 He died on 5 February 1696 at age 38.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Taylor, of Park House, in Maidstone [E., 1665] in 1665. He was educated at St. John's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Maidstone from 1689 to 1690.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Maidstone from 1695 to 1696.2 He held the office of Governor of Upnor Castle from 1695 to 1696.2
