     Robert Wardlaw was born on 23 March 1567/68.1 He was the son of Cuthbert Wardlaw of Balmule and Catherine Dalgleish.1 He married, secondly, Marion Law.1 He married, firstly, Katherine Dalgleish, daughter of Robert Dalgleish of Tunnygask, before 20 December 1600.1 He died on 4 December 1618 at age 50.1

     From before 20 December 1600, her married name became Wardlaw.1
