     Montagu Nathaniel Abrahams was born in 1876 at Kimberley, South Africa.1 He was the son of Louis Abrahams and Amelia Walloch.1 He married Annette Evelina Duveen, daughter of Sir Joseph Joel Duveen and Rosetta Barnett, in 1902.1 He died on 3 September 1916 at Flanders, Belgium, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 16th Battalion, Rifle Brigade.1 He fought in the First World War.1
