     John Scudamore, 2nd Viscount Scudamore was born circa 1650.1 He was the son of Hon. James Scudamore and Jane Bennet.2 He married Lady Frances Cecil, daughter of John Cecil, 4th Earl of Exeter and Lady Frances Manners, in 1672.1 He died in July 1697.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Glocuestershire.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Scudamore in 1671. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hereford between 1673 and 1679.1 He held the office of High Steward of Hereford.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Herefordshire between 1679 and 1681.1
