     Sir Thomas Temple, 1st and last Bt. was baptised on 10 June 1614.1 He was the son of Sir John Temple and Dorothy Lee.1 He died on 27 March 1674 at age 59, unmarried.1
     He held the office of Governor of Nova Scotia between 1656 and 1670.1 He was created 1st Baronet Temple [Nova Scotia] on 7 July 1662.1

     Edmund Temple was baptised on 6 June 1622.1 He was the son of Sir John Temple and Dorothy Lee.1 He married Eleanor Harvey, daughter of Sir Stephen Harvey, in 1647.1 He died circa 6 March 1667/68.1 He was buried on 9 March 1667/68.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Parliamentary Army.1 He lived at Sulby Priory, Northamptonshire, England.1
