Brig.-Gen. Noel Armar Lowry-Corry was born on 25 December 1867.2 He was the son of Armar Henry Lowry-Corry and Alice Margaret Greg.2 He married, firstly, Rosalind Gertrude Lloyd-Anstruther, daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Hamilton Lloyd-Anstruther and Gertrude Louisa Georgiana FitzRoy, on 14 February 1895.3 He married, secondly, Hon. Clare O'Brien, daughter of Edward Donough O'Brien, 14th Baron of Inchiquin, on 26 July 1904.2 He died on 23 August 1935 at age 67.2
Brig.-Gen. Noel Armar Lowry-Corry fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901.2 He was Colonel of the 2nd Battalion, Grenadier Guards in 1900.2 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.1,2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Breconshire.2 He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General.2 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1915.2
