     Sir Almeric William FitzRoy was born on 12 November 1851.1 He was the son of Francis Horatio Fitzroy and Hon. Gertude Duncombe.1 He married Katherine Farquhar, daughter of Sir Henry Thomas Farquhar, 4th Bt. and Hon. Alice Brand, on 30 July 1887.1 He died on 31 May 1935 at age 83.1
     Sir Almeric William FitzRoy graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was Clerk to the Privy Council between 1898 and 1923.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1909.1 He wrote the book Memoirs.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1911.1
