     Thurkill de Arden was the son of Aelfwine (?).1 He married, firstly, unknown wife (?).1 He married, secondly, Leverunia (?).1 He died circa 1100.1
     He was one of those who contrived to win the Conqueror's favour, and to keep or even inncrease their estates under his government. He had had more than four columns of land in the Domesday Book.1
