     Colonel Sir Bryce Muir Knox was born on 4 April 1916.2 He was the son of James Knox and Dorothy Fry.2 He married Patricia Dunsmuir.2 He died on 22 November 2003 at age 87.2
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.2 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was chairman of W & C Knox.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Ayrshire between 1974 and 1991.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1990.1

     Commander James Taylor Grierson was born on 28 September 1782 at North Leith, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He was the son of Commander James Falconer Grierson and Elisabeth Taylor.1 He married Margaret Ferguson.1 He married Isabella Simpson.1 He died on 20 August 1856 at age 73 at Toronto, Ontario, Canada.1
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1
