     Sir John Greville Stanley Beith was the son of William M. Beith.¹ He married Diana Gilmour, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir John Little Gilmour of Craigmillar, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Victoria Laura Cadogan, on 9 June 1949.¹ He died on 4 September 2000.¹

     Ian Mark Beith was born on 2 December 1950.¹ He is the son of Sir John Greville Stanley Beith and Diana Gilmour.¹ He married Mary Jane Few, daughter of Henry Selwyn Spicer Few, on 19 October 1975.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He was educated at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A..¹ He lived in 2003 at 26 Sutherland Street, London, England.¹

     Laura Beith was born on 2 April 1954.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Greville Stanley Beith and Diana Gilmour.¹ She died on 10 August 1954.¹
