She married, firstly, Alec Maskell Mitchell, son of Colonel Alexander Mitchell and Meta Mary Graham Paton, on 12 October 1934. She and Alec Maskell Mitchell were divorced in 1958. She married, secondly, Robert Monteath McLaren, son of James Alexander McLaren, on 23 June 1958.
     From 12 October 1934, her married name became Mitchell. From 23 June 1958, her married name became McLaren.

He and Rosemary Jean Balfour were divorced in 1958. He married, secondly, Irene MacSweeny, daughter of John MacSweeny, on 5 May 1958.
