     Lt.-Col. Oliver Robert Marne Sebag-Montefiore was born on 9 July 1915.1 He is the son of Charles Edward Sebag-Montefiore and Muriel Alice Ruth de Pass.1 He married Henrietta Floretta Waley-Cohen, daughter of Sir Robert Waley Cohen, in 1937.2
     Lt.-Col. Oliver Robert Marne Sebag-Montefiore was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery, Territorial Army.1 He was decorated with the award of Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1947.1 He graduated from Peterhouse College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1949 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He lived in 1965 at Brook Hall, Finchingfield, Essex, England.3 He lived in 1965 at 28 Devonshire Place Mews, London, England.1
