     Lionel Reginald Walker was born on 9 November 1898.1 He was the son of Reverend Reginald Edmund Walker and Lady Emily Mary Seymour.2 He died on 11 August 1917 at age 18, killed in an air crash.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 88th Victoria Fusiliers.1 He gained the rank of Cadet in the Royal Flying Corps.1

     Hon. Phyllis Margaret Russell was born on 3 June 1900.1 She was the daughter of Arthur Oliver Villiers Russell, 2nd Baron Ampthill and Lady Margaret Lygon.1 She married William George Preston Thorold, son of Commander Hubert Gould William Thorold and Lora Marsh Karslake, on 4 April 1940.2 She died circa 24 May 1998.3
     She was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.) in 1909.1 She fought in the Second World War, in the British Red Cross Society, where she was mentioned in despatches.1 Her married name became Thorold. Her marriage to William George Preston Thorold was annulled in 1942.1 She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1946.1 She held the office of Lady-in-Waiting to HRH The Princess Royal between 1963 and 1965.1 She held the office of Extra Lady-in-Waiting in 1965.1 She lived in 1998 at 55 Ebury Mews, London, EnglandG.1

William George Preston Thorold1

     William George Preston Thorold was born on 25 September 1892.2 He was the son of Commander Hubert Gould William Thorold and Lora Marsh Karslake.3 He married Hon. Phyllis Margaret Russell, daughter of Arthur Oliver Villiers Russell, 2nd Baron Ampthill and Lady Margaret Lygon, on 4 April 1940.2 He died on 23 April 1943 at age 50, without issue.2
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.2 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Berkshire Yeomanry.2 He was Deputy Chief Engineer, Metropolitan Water Board.2 He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.)2 His marriage to Hon. Phyllis Margaret Russell was annulled in 1942.1
