     He was given the name of John Learmonth at birth.¹ He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He lived at Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.¹

     Lewis Cubitt was born on 29 September 1799.¹ He was the son of Jonathan Cubitt and Agnes Scarlett.¹ He married Sophia Kendall, daughter of Henry Edward Kendall, on 23 January 1830.¹ He died on 9 June 1883 at age 83.¹
     He lived at 5 Lewes Crescent, Brighton, Sussex, England.¹

     Sophia Kendall was the daughter of Henry Edward Kendall.¹ She married Lewis Cubitt, son of Jonathan Cubitt and Agnes Scarlett, on 23 January 1830.¹ She died on 17 February 1879.¹
     From 23 January 1830, her married name became Cubitt.¹

     Thomas Cubitt was born on 8 May 1870.¹ He was the son of Captain Lewis Cubitt and Charlotte Anne Kennard.¹ He married Countess Fede Maria Riccardi, daughter of Count Adolfo Riccardi and Almée Lang, on 23 November 1893.¹ He died on 30 July 1947 at age 77.¹
     He was also known as Thomas Cubitt.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was created Count Cubitt [Italy] on 27 May 1904.¹ On 10 December 1904 his name was legally changed to Thomas Cubitt-Riccardi by Royal Licence.¹ On 16 December 1905 he obtained a Royal Warrant to bear his Italian title.¹ In 1940 his name was legally changed to Thomas Cubitt he stopped using teh name a title after the Italian declaration of war.¹ He lived at Eden Hall, Edenbridge, Kent, England.¹

     Countess Fede Maria Riccardi was the daughter of Count Adolfo Riccardi and Almée Lang.¹ She married Thomas Cubitt, son of Captain Lewis Cubitt and Charlotte Anne Kennard, on 23 November 1893.¹ She died on 18 March 1950.¹
     From 23 November 1893, her married name became Cubitt.¹ She was awarded the Royal Red Cross.¹
