William Babington, son of William Babington and Adeline Hobson, on 1 October 1853 at South Leith, Midlothian, Scotland.2 She died on 31 October 1913 at age 80 at Brooklands, Sarisbury Green, Fareham, Hampshire, England.2
     From 1 October 1853, her married name became Babington.1

     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 7th Hussars.4
