     Elizabeth Home was born in 1681. She was the daughter of Sir Alexander Home, 1st Bt. and Agnes Margaret Scott.1 She married John Stirling, son of Sir George Stirling, 1st Bt. and Marjorie Purvis, in February 1700/1.1 She died in 1716.
     Her married name became Stirling.1
