Eva Violet Mond.1 She married Major Derek Francis Hornsby, son of Major Frank Haultain Hornsby and Hon. Muriel Strutt, on 12 December 1945.1 She died on 9 February 2019 at age 97.2
     She fought in the Junior Commander, Auxiliary Territorial Service during the Second World War.1 From 12 December 1945, her married name became Hornsby. She lived in 2003 at 29 Warwick Square, London, England.1

     Major Derek Francis Hornsby was the son of Major Frank Haultain Hornsby and Hon. Muriel Strutt.1 He married Lady Elizabeth Ann Mary Isaacs, daughter of Gerald Rufus Isaacs, 2nd Marquess of Reading and Hon. Eva Violet Mond, on 12 December 1945.1 He died on 23 April 1971.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 60th Rifles.1
