     From 17 December 1834, her married name became Montgomery.1

Henry Hutchinson Montgomery and Maud Farrar.1 He married, firstly, Ursula Johnson, daughter of Gardner Johnson, on 10 November 1926.1 He married, secondly, Betty Sandy, daughter of J. M. Sandy, in 1941.1 He died on 17 May 1958 at age 74.1
     He was educated at King's School, Canterbury, Kent, EnglandG.1 He was Chief Native Commisisoner, Kenya between 1934 and 1937.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1936.1
