     General Sir Edward Cooper Hodge was born on 19 April 1810.1 He was the son of Major Edward Hodge.1 He married Lucy Anne Rimington, daughter of James Rimington and Sarah Ward, in September 1860.1 He died on 10 December 1894 at age 84.1
     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)1

     Major Edward Hodge was born in 1782.1 He died on 17 June 1815 at Genappe, Belgium, killed in action in a cavlary skirmish the day before Waterloo.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 7th Hussars.1 He fought in the Napoleonic Wars.1

     From 13 June 1839, her married name became Hargreaves.1

     Alexander Henry Abercromby Hamilton was born on 4 February 1829.1 He was the son of A. Hamilton Hamilton.1 He was baptised on 16 May 1829 at Topsham, Devon, England.1 He married, firstly, Sophia Ann Adelaide Abercromby, daughter of Sir Robert Abercromby of Birkenbog, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Stephenson Douglas, on 19 September 1854 at Banffshire, Scotland.1 He and Sophia Ann Adelaide Abercromby were divorced in 1862.1 He married, secondly, Flora Henrietta Maria Macdonald, daughter of Charles Edward Macdonald, on 1 December 1869 at Devon, England.1 He died on 2 April 1911 at age 82.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1850 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Devon.1
