     Charles Berners was born in 1770.1 He was the son of Charles Berners and Katherine Laroche.1 He died on 19 August 1831.1 His will was proven (by probate) in December 1831.1
     He was educated between March 1780 and 1785 at Westminster, London, England.1 He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 2 June 1785.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1789 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1815 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Suffolk between 1818 and 1819.1

     Jacqueline Cornelle Barones van Balveren Vrouwe van Weurt en Hoekelum was born on 7 August 1792 at Nijmegen, The Netherlands.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Gerrit Willem van Balveren Heer van Weurt en Hoekelum and Wilhelmina Carolina van Löben Sels.1 She married Otto Baron van Wassenaer Heer van Katwijk, 't Zandt en Valkenburg, son of Willem Frederik Hendrik van Wassenaer Heer van Echteld, Spanbroek, Katwijk, 't Zandt, Valkenburg en Ameide and Johanna Judith van Isselmuden, on 19 May 1819 at Beuningen, The Netherlands.1 She died on 11 January 1851 at age 58 at Arnhem, The Netherlands.1
     She was created Barones van Balveren on 21 March 1822.1
