She was the daughter of Friedrich Prinz zu Ysenburg-Büdingen und Wachtersbach and Countess Anna Dobrzensky. She married Thilo von Trotha on 14 April 1916 at Wachtersbach. She died on 18 October 1964 at age 79 at Stuttgart, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.
     Her married name became von Trotha.

     From 10 October 1898, her married name became Ward.1

     Alexandra Prinzessin zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg was baptised with the name of Alexandra Ana Maria Viktoria Karoline Elisabeth Vincenzia.2 She gained the title of Prinzessin zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg. From 18 July 1959, her married name became von Trotha.
