     Emmeline Goulden was born on 14 July 1858 at Lancashire, England.1 She was the daughter of Robert Goulden and Sophia Jane Craine.1 She married Richard Marsden Pankhurst, son of Henry Francis Pankhurst and Margaret Marsden, on 18 December 1879 at St. Luke's Church, Salford, Lancashire, England.1 She died on 14 June 1928 at age 69.1
     From 18 December 1879, her married name became Pankhurst.1 She was a campaigner for women's rights.1
