     Richard Lawrence Baillieu was born on 5 November 1934.¹ He was the son of Marshall Lawrence Baillieu and Nancy Elizabeth Willsallen.¹ He married, firstly, Charlotte Susannah Kleinwort, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Sir Cyril Hugh Kleinwort and Elisabeth Kathleen Forde, on 15 May 1965.¹ He and Charlotte Susannah Kleinwort were divorced before 1973.² He married, secondly, Darrina Christine Henderson, daughter of Roger Arnold Henderson and Judith Violet Christine Thornley, in 1974.³ He died on 6 January 2020 at age 85.⁴
     Richard Lawrence Baillieu also went by the nick-name of Lawrence.¹
