     Joseph Strutt was born circa 1802.¹ He was the son of Joseph Strutt and Mary Ann Rolfe.¹ He married, firstly, Jane Ann Strutt.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Ann Rolfe, daughter of John Valentine Rolfe and Elizabeth Smith, in 1838.¹ He died on 1 March 1840.¹ He was buried on 3 March 1840 at St. Lawrence, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.¹
