     Douglas Hercy Pipe-Wolferstan was born on 19 April 1913 at Montreal, Quebec, Canada.1,2 He was the son of Clive Ronald Pipe-Wolferstan and Annie Lavinia Rainforth.1 He died on 22 July 1944 at age 31, killed in action.3 He was buried at Beny-sur-Mer Canadian War Cemetery, Reviers, France.3
     He fought in the Second World War.3 He gained the rank of Lance Sergeant in the 14th Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery.3
