     He lived at Somerville, Navan, County Meath, Ireland.2 He was a cricketer for Ireland in August 1877.1 He was a polo player for Ireland in 1886.2 He lived at Temple Mills, Celbridge, County Kildare, Ireland.2

     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the BAttle of Waterloo in 1815, where he lost an arm.1
