Colonel Robert Isaac Dalby Hackett1

     Colonel Robert Isaac Dalby Hackett was born, on 31 March 1857.1 He was the son of Thomas Hackett and Henrietta Clementina Fawcett.2 He married Evelyn Mary Wynne-Jones, daughter of Evan Wynne-Jones, on 28 August 1895.1 He died on 15 February 1925 at age 67.1
     He was educated at Chesterfield School, Ireland.1 He was educated at Queen's University, Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland, Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He graduated from Queen's University, Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He was commissioned in 1881.1 He fought in the Dinizulu Rebellion.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Army Medical Corps.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He was Administration Officer, Sialkote and Abbotabad Brigades between 1911 and 1912.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1 He lived at Ocala, Eldorado Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1

     Evelyn Mary Wynne-Jones was the daughter of Evan Wynne-Jones.2 She married Colonel Robert Isaac Dalby Hackett, son of Thomas Hackett and Henrietta Clementina Fawcett, on 28 August 1895.1 She died on 26 October 1966.1
     From 28 August 1895, her married name became Hackett.

Thomas William Dalby Hackett1

     Thomas William Dalby Hackett was born on 1 October 1896.1 He was the son of Colonel Robert Isaac Dalby Hackett and Evelyn Mary Wynne-Jones.2 He married Louise Susan Wolfe, daughter of Francis Richard Wolfe, on 9 February 1934.1 He died on 3 November 1954 at age 58, without issue.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery, attached to the Eastern Arab Corps, Sudan.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1919.1

     From October 1876, her married name became Thornton.1
