     Robert Gregory was born in 1754.1 He was the son of Robert Gregory and Maria Auchmuty.3,1 He died on 6 December 1814 at India, unmarried.1
     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.1 In 1786 he was disinherited by his father for being Colonel Mordaunt's partner in a notorious cockfight against the Nabob of Oudh.1
