     James Younger was born on 20 January 1856.1 He was the son of James Younger and Janet McEwan.2 He married Annie Paton, daughter of John Thomson Paton, on 18 February 1886.1 He died on 27 November 1946 at age 90.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Fife.1 He lived at Mount Melville, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland.1 He lived at Arnsbrae, Cambus, Scotland.1

     Annie Paton was the daughter of John Thomson Paton.2 She married James Younger, son of James Younger and Janet McEwan, on 18 February 1886.1 She died on 21 August 1942.1
     From 18 February 1886, her married name became Younger.

Sir James Paton Younger1

     Sir James Paton Younger was born on 19 June 1891.1 He was the son of James Younger and Annie Paton.2 He married Rachel Howard Waterhouse, daughter of Paul Waterhouse, on 30 April 1921.1 He died on 17 September 1976 at age 85.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.1 He fought in the First World War.2 He was chairman of Patons of Scottish Knitwear Hloldings, George Younger and Sons, United Caledonian Breweries and Western Regional Hospital Board Scotland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Clackmannanshire in 1933.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1945.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Clackmannanshire between 1955 and 1956.2 He was admitted to Royal Company of Archers.2 He was appointed Knight in 1961.2

     James Andrew Younger was born on 26 October 1924.1 He was the son of Sir James Paton Younger and Rachel Howard Waterhouse.2 He married, firstly, Portia Mary Ottely, daughter of Bruce Ottely, on 8 June 1950.1 He and Portia Mary Ottely were divorced in 1955.1 He married, secondly, Moira Robertson Bell on 28 November 1963.2 He died on 5 August 1968 at age 43.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1
