     James Young is the son of Reverend John Young and Elspa Douglas.2
     Derry 1688 defended –89 in siege by Jacobites, attainted by JAMES II's I Parl May 1689.1 Had, with several daughters and eight younger sons.1 He was County Donegal.1

     John Young was the son of James Young.2 He married Catherine Knox Knox, daughter of Rt. Reverend Andrew Knox.1 He died in 1730, with a daughter and elder son (William, of Coolkeiragh.1
     Ancestor of the YOUNGs of Coolkeiragh).1 He was County Londonderry.1 He lived Coolkeiragh.1
