     Hon. Frances Courtenay was the daughter of William Courtenay, 1st Viscount Courtenay of Powderham Castle and Lady Frances Finch.2 She married Maj.-Gen. Sir John Wrottesley, 8th Bt., son of Rev. Sir Richard Wrottesley, 7th Bt. and Lady Mary Leveson-Gower, on 7 June 1770.1 She died on 24 February 1828.1
     From 7 June 1770, her married name became Wrottesley.

     Giovanni II Palaeologus, Marchese del Monferrato was born on 5 February 1321.1 He was the son of Theodorus Palaeologus, Prince of Byzantium and Argentina Spinola.1 He married Isabel Reina de Mallorca, daughter of Jaime II, Rey de Majorca and Constanza de Aragón, on 4 September 1358 at Montpellier, France.1 He died on 19 March 1372 at age 51.1

     Edward Wrottesley was born on 19 October 1785.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir John Wrottesley, 8th Bt. and Hon. Frances Courtenay.2 He married Anne Tringham, daughter of Reverend Thomas Tringham, in 1812.1 He died on 29 July 1814 at age 28.1
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1

     Anne Tringham was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Tringham.2 She married Edward Wrottesley, son of Maj.-Gen. Sir John Wrottesley, 8th Bt. and Hon. Frances Courtenay, in 1812.1 She died on 15 May 1853.1
     From 1812, her married name became Wrottesley.

     Reverend Edward John Wrottesley was born on 9 November 1814.1 He was the son of Edward Wrottesley and Anne Tringham.2 He married Maria Eugenia Jeffreys, daughter of John Jeffreys, on 8 April 1847.1 He died on 19 January 1901 at age 86.1
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Vicar at Brewood, Staffordshire, England.1 He held the office of Prebendary of Lichfield.1
