     Horatio Lennox Arthur Maitland was born on 13 March 1834 at Brighton, Sussex, England.1 He was the son of General Sir Peregrine Maitland and Lady Sarah Lennox.1 He died on 29 March 1904 at age 70 at 22 Queensberry Place, London, England, unmarried.1 He was buried on 2 April 1904 at St. Paul's Churchyard, Tongham, Surrey, England.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy, on H.M.S. Agamemnon.1 He fought in the Crimean War, where he was wounded in the foot, and crippled.1

     David Wolseley was born on 17 April 1804.1 He was the son of Arthur Wolseley and Jane Griffiths.2 He married, firstly, Jane Peters, daughter of Abraham Peters.1 He married, secondly, Bridget Dorothy Hughes, daughter of William Hughes.2 He married, thirdly, Ann Eliza Edwards, daughter of Edward Edwards, on 16 April 1873.1 He died in June 1876 at age 72, without issue.1
