     Sir John Wynn, 1st Bt. was born in 1553.1 He was the son of Morus ap Morus Wynn and Jane Bulkeley.2 He married Sidney Gerard, daughter of Sir William Gerard, circa 1575.1 He died on 1 March 1626.1
     He was appointed Knight in 1606.1 He was created 1st Baronet Wynn, of Gwydir [England] on 29 June 1611.1 He lived at Gwydir, Wales.1 He had eight other sons and two daughters.1 He wrote the book The History of the Gwydir Family, published 1770.1

     Sir Richard Wynn, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1588.1 He was the son of Sir John Wynn, 1st Bt. and Sidney Gerard.2 He married Anne Darcy, daughter of Sir Francis Darcy, on 16 June 1616.1 He died on 19 July 1649, without issue.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Caernarvonshire in 1619.1 He held the office of Gentleman of the Privy Chamber to King Charles I, when Prince of Wales.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ilchester from 1621 to 1622.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ilchester from 1624 to 1625.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Wynn, of Gwydir [E., 1611] on 1 March 1626.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Liverpool between 1640 and 1649.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Andover from April 1640 to May 1640.1 He lived at Gwydir, Wales.1

     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Wynn, of Gwydir [E., 1611] on 19 July 1649.1 He lived at Gwydir, Wales.1
