Caroline Palmer1

     Caroline Palmer was the daughter of Reverend C. Palmer.2 She married General Sir Francis Wheler, 10th Bt., son of Sir Trevor Wheler, 8th Bt. and Harriet Beresford, in February 1827.1 She died in January 1833.1
     From February 1827, her married name became Wheler.

Colonel Trevor Wheler, 11th Bt.1

     Colonel Trevor Wheler, 11th Bt. was born on 12 March 1828.1 He is the son of General Sir Francis Wheler, 10th Bt. and Caroline Palmer.2 He married Cordelia Mary Scott, daughter of Major John A. Scott, on 21 June 1852.1 He died on 10 January 1900 at age 71.1
     He fought in the Indian Mutiny in 1857.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Bengal Staff Corps.1 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Wheler, of City of Westminster, co. London [E., 1660] on 4 April 1878.1

     Lt.-Col. Francis Henry Wheler was born on 3 July 1848.1 He was the son of General Sir Francis Wheler, 10th Bt. and Elizabeth Bishop.2 He married Jane Highett, daughter of John Highett, on 22 April 1885.1 He died on 16 March 1932 at age 83.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 2nd Battalion, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.1
