Mary Florence Luttrell was the daughter of Reverend Alexander Fownes Luttrell.2 She married Richard Augustus Bethell, 2nd Baron Westbury, son of Richard Bethell, 1st Baron Westbury and Ellinor Mary Abraham, on 5 July 1851.1 She died on 14 August 1901.1
From 5 July 1851, her married name became Bethell. After her marriage, Mary Florence Luttrell was styled as Baroness Westbury on 20 July 1873.

Hon. Sir Alexander Edward Bethell was born on 28 August 1855.1 He was the son of Richard Augustus Bethell, 2nd Baron Westbury and Mary Florence Luttrell.2 He married Hilda Mary Huntsman, daughter of Benjamin Huntsman, on 11 March 1890.1 He died on 13 June 1932 at age 76.1
He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)1 He fought in the Somaliland Campaign between 1903 and 1904.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King Edward VII between 1907 and 1908.1 He was Director of Naval Intelligence between 1907 and 1912.1 He was Commander-in-Chief of the East Indies in 1912.1 He was commander between 1913 and 1914 at Royal Naval War College College, Greenwich, London, England.1 He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in 1914.1 He was President between 1914 and 1915 at Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London, EnglandG.1 He was Commander-in-Chief of the Channel Fleet in 1915.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Admiral in 1915.1
