     Thomas Weldon was born on 9 September 1834.1 He was the son of Sir Anthony Weldon, 4th Bt. and Harriett Hockeley.2 He married Helen Rachel Louisa Simpson, daughter of General George William Young Simpson, on 16 February 1865.1 He died on 9 November 1905 at age 71.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Indian Army.1

Helen Rachel Louisa Simpson1

     Helen Rachel Louisa Simpson was the daughter of General George William Young Simpson.1 She married Thomas Weldon, son of Sir Anthony Weldon, 4th Bt. and Harriett Hockeley, on 16 February 1865.1 She died on 16 October 1931.1
     From 16 February 1865, her married name became Weldon.

George Anthony Weldon1

     George Anthony Weldon was born on 1 February 1866.1 He was the son of Thomas Weldon and Helen Rachel Louisa Simpson.2 He died on 20 October 1899 at age 33, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Boer War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Dublin Fusiliers.1

Major Francis Harry Weldon1

     Major Francis Harry Weldon was born on 24 April 1869.1 He was the son of Thomas Weldon and Helen Rachel Louisa Simpson.2 He married Eveleen Campbell, daughter of Thomas Fielden Campbell, on 16 September 1902.1 He died on 8 April 1920 at age 50.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Sherwood Foresters, Derbyshire Regiment.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1

     Walter Ivan Weldon was born on 16 July 1871.1 He was the son of Thomas Weldon and Helen Rachel Louisa Simpson.2 He married Edith Lucy Whiting, daughter of Clifton Whiting, on 5 July 1899.1 He died on 6 March 1934 at age 62.1
     He was educated at Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 4th Battalion, Manchester Regiment.1
