Fanny Parker was the daughter of Reverend William John Parker.2 She married Henry Ritchie Wallace, son of Robert Wallace and Catherine Tennant, on 10 October 1860.1 She died on 26 July 1908.1

Lt.-Col. Hugh Robert Wallace of Busbie was born on 31 August 1861.1 He was the son of Henry Ritchie Wallace and Fanny Parker.2 He married, firstly, Matilda Marion Christie Campbell, daughter of Archibald Campbell of Cammo, younger, on 14 October 1886.1 He married, secondly, Isobel McRae Arthur, daughter of William Rae Arthur, on 30 January 1908.2 He died on 2 May 1924 at age 62.2
He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches twice.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel between 1915 and 1916 in the 10th (Service) Battalion, Gordon Highlanders.2 He was Honorary Sheriff Substitute Convener of Ayrshire.1 He lived at Busbie, Ayrshire, Scotland.1
