Vernon Coleridge Boles was born on 4 April 1926.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Dennis Coleridge Boles and Katharine Monica Walker.2 He married Elizabeth Spence-Thomas, daughter of William James Spence-Thomas, on 28 January 1956.1 He died on 17 January 1997 at age 70.1
