     Brig.-Gen. Thomas Fox-Strangways was born on 28 December 1790.1 He was the son of Rev. Hon. Charles Redlynch Fox-Strangways and Jane Haines.1 He married Sophia Eliza Harenc, daughter of Benjamin Harenc, on 20 July 1833.1 He died on 5 November 1854 at age 63 at Inkerman, RussiaG, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Battle of Inkerman on 5 November 1854.1

     Sophia Eliza Harenc was the daughter of Benjamin Harenc.1 She married Brig.-Gen. Thomas Fox-Strangways, son of Rev. Hon. Charles Redlynch Fox-Strangways and Jane Haines, on 20 July 1833.1 She died on 19 March 1870.1
     Her married name became Fox-Strangways.

     Sophia Maria Fox-Strangways was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Thomas Fox-Strangways and Sophia Eliza Harenc.1 She married Reverend Christian Frederick Newell on 26 April 1864.1 She died on 18 January 1900, without issue.1
     Her married name became Newell.
